Incredible story! I liked the format of the story -- the many ways it could have gone besides the one we actually got. Like Ianto's list, it offers a glimpse of "what if". I wonder, though, if it would have turned out any better for Ianto, as it seems that with this version of the story, he is still invisible. There is no Jack-flirtations, no one notices his pain, no one tries to include him, no one asks for his input on cases; he is an automaton, bringing coffee when asked, ordering and serving their meals, and cleaning up after the them. I have often wondered what would have happened to Ianto had "Cyberwoman" not happened as it did. This is a wonderful glimpse into that particular "what if". Would Ianto be the "Ianto" we all know and love? What a heartbreaking retelling -- on all levels.
