I've read all three of the TW fics you've posted, and I can only say this: your characterisation of Ianto is damn near perfect. Or at least, it aligns almost perfectly with my perception of him. I think you've managed to capture exactly why so many people love this character - he's a bundle of contradictions, broken and witty, loyal and disloyal, passionate and reserved, perceptive and naive, strong and fragile. Reading this made my heart ache for him, not least because all of the scenarios you've touched on could be canon.
