Quite a bit of research went into this story, since I wanted to keep all responses and interactions as realisitic as possible (no quick-fixes or healing-sex). Although Francine wasn't really a major character in the show, I thought she was probably the only one Jack would consider going to for help - especially since she hated the Master enough to want to kill him.
