I'm with you; S4 is a no-no. I may listen to the newly announced radio plays that are set prior to the final nail in the coffin of Torchwood aka S3 although even these will be missing vital elements of S1/2 - namely brilliant Tosh & acid wit Owen. If there was any justice in the world Torchwood would have ended with S2 (or perhaps Dr Who - I enjoyed the Stolen Earth etc); any further outings would have become Torchwood; Tales from the Archive, including various back stories only loosely explored/featured in S1/2 using Jack as the linking arc including the families of both Jack, Ianto & all but such things take fore-thought & that is not a skill demonstrated of late by the pen of Mr RTD! As for ghostly Ianto; still a star in my book - as is his creator; a wonderful read from start to finish. Well Done
