MCR canon help request

I honestly have no idea if posting here is going to garner any responses, but I’ve got my fingers crossed.

I need some help with a fic I’m trying to write at the moment. It’s RPF of My Chemical Romance – obviously a fairly new fandom for me, which is why I don’t know which comms to go to for canon help. Also, I don't want beta help, just canon info - plus, there’s a distinct possibility this fic won’t be completed/posted for a long time (if at all) - so I’m leery of going to actual fic-help comms.

If there’s anyone who comes across this who a) reads MCR RPF, b) just generally knows MCR info or c) knows someone else who does and can refer them here, please help?

I just need canon info on the following things:

1. Where do Frank, Jamia and their kids live?
   
2. Where do Gerard, Lindsey and their daughter live? (I’m thinking LA? Is that right?)
   
3. For that matter, where do Mikey+Alicia, and Ray+Krista(Christa?) live?
   
4. How do you spell Ray’s wife’s name?
   
5. Of Frank, Gerard, Lindsey and Jamia, who smokes and/or drinks? (I know Gerard’s sober, but what about the others, especially Lindsey? And do they still smoke? Have they cut down at all?)
   
6. What kind of cars do Gerard, Frank and Jamia drive?
   
7. What religions (if any) do Gerard, Frank, Jamia and Lindsey subscribe to?
   
8. Can anyone list all (or at least most) of Frank’s current tattoos, and their significance (if known)? I’ve honestly lost track of everything. Verbal descriptions are fine; picture refs are a bonus.

For the curious, it’s a Frank/Gerard story with Gerard/Lindsey and Frank/Jamia mentions (bet you couldn’t guess from the questions). Also, it’s looking like it might be a longfic at the moment – could go either the way of a multi-chaptered fic, or a long (20ish pages) one-shot. Um, assuming the fic stops bludgeoning my brain into pulp (it’s not really cooperating).

Be eternally grateful if someone could help me with this!

1. Belleville, NJ

2. Between New York (close to where Alicia and Mikey live [at least this is what Gerard said in an interview a while ago]) and Belleville, NJ. MSI are in Los Angeles but I don't think Lyn-z has been back in the band since Bandit was born.

3. Not sure about Ray and Krista, but Alicia and Mikey live in New York (even though Alicia says on her twitter "Los Angeles" and Mikey says "New Jersey").

5. Frank used to smoke but I guess that now that he has kids he has stopped, the same goes for Gerard and Lyn-z. I don't think I have ever seen Jamia smoking. (They still drink around Gerard, all of them, but I don't know if since the kids were born they stopped doing it).

6. I honestly don't know this. I mean, Gerard once said that he still had to believe the fact that now he had a Limo and a driver that took him shopping on the 5th Avenue, but I don't know what kind of cars they have. I guess SUVs or something like any other star.

7. Ah, I know this one for Alicia (she's Buddhist). But if I remember right, the others are atheist.

8. Oh this is way too hard. He has sooooooo many. I know that the one around his wrist, "Wish I Were a Ghost" it's because of My Chem's song "The Ghost Of You". The wolves on his leg, the heart with a Madonna, are for The Black Parade and Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. The hearts on his hands with the sentence, are for his previous band Pency Prep. I forgot to say, I hope I was helpful, they are one of my favourite bands but all Gerard/Frank I have read, they were vampires and Jamia and Lyn-z were never in the picture (even more so since I started reading them in 2006 and stopped after a couple of months).

EEEE thank you so much! Way more than I expected; I didn't know if there was anyone following this journal who'd even know what this fandom was! I'm kind of obsessively going through the info on that page you linked me to - it's great!

MCR is definitely one of my favourite bands of all time as well. I don't think I've read very widely in the fandom, but I did come across a couple that made me think I should play with the trope.... which is Frank as a ghost, so I'm not sure how much you're going to like this one, if I post it!

I have to say, I can understand fics where Jamia and Lindsey were never in the picture - it's part of my love-hate relationship with RPF. See, if I want Gerard and Frank to get together, I have to split up Frank/Jamia and Gerard/Lindsey. That, or they cheat on their wives. Or their wives know and are fine with it. None of these appeal to me, so it's honestly just easier to read fics set in a world where the relationships never existed in the first place. Bonus points if they're good friends even if they never dated. Eh, I dunno - just my two cents, I guess. =D
