Well, here goes, because as anyone who knows me knows, I am totally obsessed with Dick Grayson and the Robin costume! ;)
The first one made me smile. Bruce is really quite articulate here, isn't he? ;)
This was light 'n' breezy and Jealous Bruce always amuses me! :)
And as for no one associating the Robin costume with guys Dick's age, well, all I know is that he wore it well into his 20s in canon! ;)
The second one is just as funny at the ball, with Dick wondering if the original Robin ever got cold in his short shorts. Which he must have, even if he was wearing some kind of flesh-colored tights! ;)
"No doubt he used the Batman’s cape as a blanket when necessary, Master Dick."*
More laughter. "Heh, Bat-blanket?"
These are great lines! And an image I love to dream about, Robin under the Batman's protective cape while they sit and watch the city. In fact, that's a story I'm going to be writing soon! :)
The third is so heartfelt and so needed to be said! I like the way that Dick knows all of Bruce's moods and when he 'surges' up into Bruce, Bruce recognizes and knows no one else would do that.
