I really enjoy moments between Ianto and Tosh. There is this uncomplicated bond between them that conveys trust and friendship. They both need those moments of normnal to balance the insanity of Torchwood. The moments between Ianto and Jack -- a bit more complicated. I like that the Gwen question is addressed, and that Ianto spoke up about it. Jack's response makes sense and at least he is now aware that he needs to think before he sticks foot in mouth. And Ianto is correct that maybe they'll still have misunderstandings, but he knows that Jack is trying. There are so many layers to both men and the secrets they reveal come slowly, painfully. (Although, I am interested in how Ianto can manage to bind and gag himself.)I like that their relationship or "animatos" (lovely meaning) is acknowledged. It means that their fumblings and misteps with each other will help cement a stronger relationship. Because that is what love is, isn't it -- it isn't always hearts and flowers. Sometimes it is painful, but it is, ultimately, always worth it. Great chapter, and it goes a long way to soothing some of the bitterness over this particular episode. Look forward to the next chapter.
