Wonderful chapter! Like other readers I love the parts with Ianto's family, and would love to see them meet Jack. And for Jack to put Daffyd in his place! Sadly, though, I worry about this parallel (and Ianto's worries about his own mortality) perhaps leading to the events of CoE, and it reminds me that we're getting closer to the end of Series 2...Selfishly I'd love this to deviate from the events of CoE... I also loved the way Ianto was so confident with his family: “Well, first off, I’d like to explain something,” Ianto began, ignoring Jack’s mental pout. “My sexuality wasn’t actually what I wanted to talk about.” It should have been more like that in the show... And the Jack/Ianto interactoin, both in real life and 'mentally' is exactlly how I imagine them to be together... Anyway- just REALLY loved this installment!
