Thank you so much! It was definitely interesting balancing on the fine line between the unhealthy possessiveness that characterises Ianto, and the affection and care that Jack sees in him. Ianto's abilities definitely allow him to be something of a protector to Jack, and it's precisely for that reason that Jack winds up falling under his thrall.
I'm afraid I have no plans to write anything more in this 'verse (didn't realise how many people would ask for that!). It's as much mood-piece as it is anything else, and I don't know that the effect would be retained in another fic. Sorry! - but I'm glad you enjoyed this one, at least. Thanks for commenting!
