Please don't take this the wrong way, but this was awful! And I mean awful for Ianto in a soul-crushing, no-way-out, downward-spiral-into-oblivion way, *not* I-hated-this-fic-and-wish-I'd-never-read-it.
The way Ianto methodically wrote down the way things might have turned out and then destroyed the list was beautiful and therapeutic in one way, but rather morbid and self-flagellating in another.
Gut-wrenching as it is, I think this is my favorite fic that you've posted to date. It's an absolutely perfect portrayal of the way things could have been if Lisa had dies before the others found out she was being kept in the basement.
