Absolutely amazing! I was puzzled at their first meeting and the subtle dialogue differences until that 'OH!' moment and we back and re-read everything with fervor. My first speculation was that John was hired by Moriarty to befriend Sherlock but you've really went up and above my expectation and turned this into an amazing time travel fic which is one of my major kinks.
It was interested to see that John managed to capture Sherlock's attention despite how the first case went down differently and Sherlock's inner dialogue and references to past roommates really made my heart clench.
Brilliantly written. I’ll definitely be re-reading in the future with pleasure.
