Mostly because Sherlock and Rowena both have roughly the same meaning - white/fair-haired; and also because I like the sound of the name and I think it fits with the naming scheme the Holmes parents seem to have been going with. =D It's a bit odd, I know - people seem to generally go with either Sherlock, or something that sounds similar...
