I just finished this entire series...and I had to tell you what a stellar, amazing piece it is. I was captivated from start to finish with your alternative canon. You provided so much depth and backstory to what was going on, and made it all so compelling. The twist you took on it was also really well done. The subtle build-up with Ianto's gift, and then the ways in which it deepened the connection between Ianto and Jack, drew the audience in. I found myself itching to read more, every chance I could get (Luckily I converted it to a PDF to read it on my Kindle, I could take it everywhere then!).

Words really seem to fail right now to convey just how much I enjoyed your story, and how well done it is. It is definitely one of the best stories I've read based on its complexity, attention to detail, and ability to draw these characters out further and make them even more compelling than they already were. Truly this is a testament to your skills as a writer, and I want to commend you for it. I'm adding this series to my memories, and I'm also keeping it on my Kindle, because I have no doubt that I will be re-reading this at some point. It's too good not to.

(Also, I loved the Batman analogy in "Carry On"! So spot on...though perhaps Owen would be Jason Todd/Red Hood? After all, they both "came back from the dead" and are rather cynical/jaded.)

This was absolutely fabulous. I adore what you did with the episodes, fixing Gwen's bad characterisation, the telepathic bond (and the sex! XD), and filling in the holes. I'd love to read more in this 'verse!

I have to echo larsinger29's comments. Having spent the better part of the last few days completely obsessed by this incredible work, I am truly in awe of the detail and attention you've put in with regard to timeline, etc. What a pleasure to read and basic lose myself in. Congratulations - you have shared something wonderful.
